NACLA Commenting Policy

In order to maintain a productive conversation, NACLA moderates comments on blog posts and online articles. Comments arrive in an approval queue, so if your comment does not appear immediately, please do not post it again. All viewpoints are welcome in NACLA’s commenting section, and given the seriousness of the issues that NACLA covers, we hope for a vigorous debate. However, NACLA editors reserve the right not to accept comments and to remove any that have already been published. Our web moderator will automatically delete comments that include anything NACLA deems to constitute (1) a violent threat, (2) hate speech (including slurs that are racist, sexist, homophobic, and otherwise), (3) an ad hominem or other form of verbal abuse, and (4) spam. Users who persistently violate these norms will be permanently banned. NACLA reserves the right to amend this policy at any time.
