And the latest from the CISPES Election Blog:

NACLA-NYU Exhibit: Stories of El Salvador: The Civil War and Its Aftermath

The Graduate Association for Latin American Studies at NYU (GALAS) is organizing a photographic exhibition that will run from April 7, 2014 to May 4, 2014 at the Stovall Gallery at New York University's Kimmel Center, entitled "Stories of El Salvador: The Civil War and Its Aftermath." This story of the Civil War in El Salvador and the role of women during and after the conflict will be told utilizing the photojournalism archive of the North American Congress on Latin American (NACLA), with photos that have never been exhibited to a broad public. The exhibit will also include portraits from the Mujeres de la Guerra Project by the activists Lyn McCracken and Theodora Simon. Click here to learn more or donate GALAS' Indiegogo campaign.
