Nearly a year to the day after activist Brad Will was killed in Oaxaca, Mexico, President Bush introduced the Merida Initiative, a massive drug war modeled on Plan Colombia. In essence, "Plan Mexico" will better arm the same people responsible for numerous extrajudicial killings in Mexico.

About the Presenters:
- Harry Bubbins is an environmental educator and advocate who was a friend and colleague of Brad Will. He has served as the ad hoc Communications Director in Washington, DC and New York City, advancing accountability and human rights issues in Congress and on the grass roots level.
- Fred Rosen works as a senior analyst for NACLA and as an independent
journalist in Mexico. He divides his work time between New York and Mexico
City.
- Liza Smith is the National Organizer for the Fellowship of Reconciliation Colombia Program. She coordinates a campaign to end US military aid to Colombia and build transnational solidarity between communities in Colombia and the US.
