Notice: U.S. Committee for Justice to Latin American Political Prisoners

The U.S. Committee for Justice to Latin American Political Prisoners has been formed with the following aims (abbreviated from their statement):

1. To aid victims of political persecution and injustice in Latin America; 2. To organize actions within the United States and pressure Latin American governments to end political repression; 3. To inform public opinion in the United States on the repressive policies pursued by military, authoritarian, and even constitutional regimes in Latin America, and to call attention to any complicity of the U.S. government in aiding and abetting such violations of democratic rights; 4. To cooperate with organizations in Latin America and other countries which have similar aims.
